Two Antique Indonesian Hunting Spears Throwing Lance Blade Knife

The first of these two Indonesian spears shows folding techniques used in the forming of the head. The overall length is 68” (173cm), with a 8" spear head blade. The spear has an undulating bamboo shaft and the spear head has a finely carved wooden sheath/scabbard. The condition is good. The shaft has a crack in it near the spear head, but is firmly attached. The wooden sheath is missing two bands of its' rattan. The second spear is a small throwing spear measuring 47” inches long with a 9” spear head. The spear head has a finely engraved pattern on both sides of the blade. The condition is good. The spear head is firmly attached to the shaft. There is a crack from a break in handle near the end, which has been repaired.
