    Here is a
    used pair of Starrett 27-3 firm-joint inside calipers.  A 3" very handy size.
    This size is no longer made in this type and I couldn't find them going back to catalog #27 which is the oldest Starrett catalog I currently have for reference.
    They work great, but there are two initials stamped in them and some old stain spots from age as the pointer in the photos show.
