    Here is a
    good used pair of Starrett 27-10 firm-joint inside calipers.  This handy 10" size is no longer made by Starrett.
    They work excellent.  They have been cleaned with a Scotchbrite pad at one time and there is 1 previous owner small grind mark at the top for identification.  See photo with pointer.  These run today if new from Starrett in the 27-12, 12" size for reference.  Here are some specifications on this model:
