    Description

    Beautiful Large Vintage Platter marked "Pope-Gosser China Made in USA Sterling 38." This piece measures approximately 15 1/4" by 11" by about 1 5/8" deep. A fantastic platter to just display or put to good use at your dinner table. The edge of the rim is gilded and there is a fantastic floral "Blue Belle" pattern around the rim of the platter. The Pope-Gosser company originated in 1902 in Ohio and started manufacturing in 1903. The stamp used on this piece is indicative of items manufactured about 1938. This pattern discontinued in 1944.
