The Groz 7in. Rapid Action Vise has a rapid action mechanism which is unique and different from the conventional quick-release mechanism. To tighten the vise, turn the handle in the usual way. As soon as the handle is turned in the opposite direction, the screw is disengaged, and the front jaw slides freely. No springs, levers or bars. This design is a very useful feature in repetitive work situations for holding different size pieces.
