In 1939 the movie Gone with the wind,  Starring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh. was released. The original posters are extremely sought after. The original poster in the one sheet format sells for tens of thousands of dollars. This is a painting of the original poster that was made 30 years ago in South America. The artist used to paint the billboards for movies in South America. This is not a cheap item, it is deeply rich in acrylic paints as well as painted on canvas. Due to the age you can see some cracking in the paint which in my opinion only leads one to believe that is still very cool looking. Keep in mind this is a reproduction, but it is a painting which is quite different than just having something printed on a piece of paper the canvas is thick and the pain to stick as well. This is almost an exact replica of the original poster as the artist utilized hand to eye coordination by looking at a picture of the original poster. This would look great for anyone's collection or in a movie theatre lobby, or in your movie room! Pay careful attention to photos. The canvas Measures 29 x 45 inches and the image painted is slight smaller.
