Antique Pope Gosser Sterling Blue Belle China Large Oval Serving Platter~USA

This is a beautiful antique china large oval serving platter. The platter was made by Pope Gosser in the United States. Pope Gosser originated in 1902 in Ohio and started manufacturing in 1903. This pattern, Blue Belle, was made between 1941-1944. The pattern is of pink and blue flowers. The shape is considered Sterling with gold gilt trim and lightly scalloped edges. The piece is marked in gold on the bottom and it measures approximately 15 1/4 inches in length and 11 1/2 inches wide. The item is used but in nice condition. There is crazing from age.
