The addition of molybdenum disulfide to Nylon 6-6 MD improves both the mechanical and thermal properties of the plastic. The molecular properties of MD achieves extra lubricity, making Nylon 6-6 MD perfect for applications in which require parts to operate with little or no lubrication. The electrical and chemical properties of standard Nylon 6-6 remain unchanged as well, offering a non-scratch, non-galling, sound damping and insulating properties.
