Shape was a little different than I was expecting (much larger than our window wells), but it meets our needs and was easy to install. Some of the provided screws/nuts didn't fit together but there were enough clips to get the cover attached securely.

Very clear, heavy duty cover works as advertised. Love the 7 year warranty. Note on the clips, at first they seem too large to clamp down on the walls of the window well but when you start fastening them to the cover, they close up under tension and work great. They probably won't keep the cover in place with severe 35 mph+ winds which is why I installed an additional latch on the underside.

A good window well cover with thick plastic and a metal reinforcement along the back edge. It's not truly universal unless you have the tools to cut the plastic and metal brace in back down to size. When you do that you lose the lip that surrounds the outside edge which lessens the effectiveness around the window well. It wasn't designed to be hinged in back so I modified mine to make it that way. On my window it extends over the well opening a little so it's not pretty but it functions and that's all I care about.

It covers the window well. And it's clear so it allows light through and stops water, which is great. Iv'e put large coblestones under it so it tilts away from the house, otherwise water collects on the window. And I've put coblestones on the outside edges to weigh it down in case of strong winds. A bit cludgy.
